Answer: We offer a wide range of RO systems from two stage up to seven stage systems plus options within the given stages. To just sight an example, we offer over 30 different models of 5 stage RO systems. We build the Reverse Osmosis systems here in our facility in the USA, therefore we can […]

Answer: Three or Four Stage RO System The space required for a Reverse Osmosis system will vary with the type of model you will be purchasing. A 3 or 4 stage system will be approximately 14 inches wide, 7 inches deep and 14 to 17 inches tall. The height will vary depending upon the items […]

Removal of TDS is the primary use for Reverse Osmosis systems. Consumers do not want nitrates, fluoride, arsenic, drugs, heavy metals and the list goes on in their drinking water. So Where do all of these contaminants come from: 1. Some dissolved solids come from organic sources such as leaves, silt, plankton, and industrial waste […]

Answer: RO systems are capable of removing certain biological contaminants such as Cryptosporidium and Giardia.  The pore size of the RO membrane along with the amount of pressure applied to the water will generally determine the rate of reduction of such contaminants.  The Water Quality Association (WQA) states,  that while RO membranes are reliable for […]

Answer: No, they run on water pressure. You need electricity only if you add an electric pressure-boost pump to increase the system’s performance or an ultraviolet light to be certain that your water does not have any bacteria. Both of these items are options on most RO units and the decision to select options will […]

Background Some folks would have you believe that Reverse Osmosis (RO) water is some high-tech, super, genetically altered water that could one day destroy the world. Nothing is farther from the truth. Reverse Osmosis is just a filter with much smaller holes than other filters. Reverse Osmosis is just a normal film based filter that […]

Answer: Yes, it is necessary to match the capacity of the RO membrane and the flow restrictor. Unless the capacity of these two items are matched, you will either be putting too much water to the drain or you will pre-maturely foul the RO membrane. See our comments on flow restrictors for added information.
